Toward a Naturalistic Psychology by Jaysen M. Clark © 2005 There is currently much debate within the field of psychology about the role of Nature. For instance Ken Wilber in Integral Psychology (2001) claims that "web of life theories" can not account for the deep interiority of the human psyche. In Radical Ecopsychology (2001) this idea is refuted. In subsequent works such as Bill Plotkin's Soulcraft (2002) the rich depth of human psychological states is also shown to be reconcilable with a "more than human" world.
